It is planned to form a Women’s Group. Please take a pro-forma  at back of church, fill in, write down any ideas for the group and return to Claudette

Lent

Wed 22 Feb: Ash Wednesday.

Masses, with Imposition of Ashes, at 12noon (low mass) and 7-30pm (Sung Mass).

Sat 25 Feb: Society of Mary Lenten Devotion at St Paul’s, Royton

11-30am. Bring packed lunch. Soup & drinks provided.

The Lent Course will be held on Tuesday evenings at 7-30pm (or 8pm?) in the vicarage. The title of the course is “Finding a Voice” and will use excerpts from the film “The King’s Speech.”

Fridays in Lent (starting Fri 2 Mar):

11-15am Stations of the Cross. 12noon Mass. 12-45pm Lent Lunch in vicarage in aid of ACS

Summer Parish Outing—suggestions to FrC or Sandra please.

Volunteers needed to present Bible stories to Primary School children

in assoc with “Open the Book” national organisation. More info from FrC.

St Mary’s, Wavertree are running a Debt Advice Service.

Sponsored by Church Urban Fund. Volunteers needed. Training given. See FrC.

'Come and Sing' Stainer's Crucifixion
Choirs and individuals are invited to 'come and sing' at the Cathedral under the direction of David Poulter on Saturday 31st March.

6.00pm Singers’ rehearsal 8.00pm performance.£5 per person taking part.
