Meets at 3pm at St Paul’s, Croxteth. Transport from St Agnes’s. Saturday 17th May: Patronal Festival – St Pancras (transferred from Mon 12th May). 12 noon: High Mass. Preacher: Fr Philip Warner. Bread and Soup lunch. Talk and Vespers of the Dead at graves of Douglas Horsfall and Fr Elcum. Sunday 25th May: Solemnity of Corpus Christi (transferred from Thu 22nd) . 12 noon: Mass and Procession Sunday 25th May: Sunderland Symphony Concert 2-30pm: Concert of Choral Music in St Agnes’s. Saturday 7th June: Society of Mary Pilgrimage to Ladyewell. 12 noon: Rosary Procession and Mass. Bring packed lunch. Sprinkling from Holy Well, and Benediction. Saturday 7th June: Renaissance Music Group “Choral Pilgrimage” Series of recitals in the three Grade 1 Listed churches: St Clare’s (at 3pm), Ullet Road Unitarian Church (at 3-40pm) and St Agnes’s (at 4- 55pm). Talk at each church on its history etc, and refreshments at the Unitarian Church. Mon 23rd to Fri 27th June: Parish Pilgrimage to Walsingham. Saturday 12th July: Summer Buffet Lunch. Tickets £5. Details from the Vicar. Sunday 17th August: The Assumption of Our Lady (transferred from 15th) 10am: Parish Mass and Procession. Annual Servers’ Lunch. Sunday 24th August: Parish Barbecue/Summer Party Saturday 30th August: Ethiopian St Takla Haymanot Festival. At St Agnes’s, ca 9am to 5pm. |
